PCS1 will do something rather unique. Rather than giving every phone number its own voicemail box, there will be a unified voicemail solution. Let’s assume that you have a cellular line, a home phone line, and a fax/voicemail line. With all other carriers, this is 3 separate voicemails that you have to negotiate and not conveniently. In example, you can’t access your home or voicemail line until you return home. With the unified voicemail concept, all calls goes to one voicemail box, and all calls will be available from all of the devices you use – no matter the device. This means you effectively have visual voicemail with your smartphone to receive your home phone calls as well.
To access your unified voicemail, press and hold down 1 on cellular phones, or go to the voicemail tab for visual voicemail. On home phones, dial *86 (VM). While not as flexible as visual voicemail, you still get the voicemails as they came through.
Each voicemail is limited to 2.5 minutes, and you only have 25 voicemail slots. When voicemail 26 comes through, it will drop the oldest voicemail. You should check your voicemail based on your intensity.
