I will have 4 telephone numbers – all of which will have a purpose, and a role to fill. While you can go to my Ideal Phone Setup site, I will give you the basics here. No matter what, those with CID+, they will see my name if I’m not in their contacts. This is different than many other carriers where they will just use “Subscriber” or “Wireless Caller”. This is designed with purpose, and it only takes about 5 minutes to not have the two options as noted.
412
My 412 number will ring my SIP phone, no matter what it is. The SIP? phone can be anything from an ATA?, Wifi? phone, or an unused smartphone. No matter what, this number will be moved from my cellular plan into the home phone plan.
724
I will use my carrier’s eFax service with this number. I will be able to send and receive faxes, and it will use my unified voicemail that I will have with the carrier. This is very important as I would rather check 1 voicemail box than 4 voicemail boxes. Assuming that I have my phone provider, I will be able to set my WHOIS information with this number as my voice contact number.
855
I will use the Toll-Free add-on plan to give me service. Calls to this telephone number will ring my cellular and my home phone at the same time. This will allow me to pick up which ever phone is closest to me. The only catch, is no one will see this number as the calling number, and if they do, the number is spoofed.
878
This will become my cellular phone line. This is simple and to the point. This will likely be the call I will call from, but I will also use my 412 number. This line will obviously give me unlimited calling in the US, Canada, and Mexico – although I don’t know anyone in Canada, nor Mexico.
Plan
The plan will be as followed:
- 412: $10
- 724: $10+10ยข per minute (outgoing)
- 855: $10
- 878: $25
- Device Add-on (router 5MBPS): $5.00
Total: $65.00. And since all of my telephone numbers are with PCS1, and I have unified voicemail, all 4 numbers will share the same voicemail box which allows me to dial *VM on a SIP Phone, or used the visual voicemail on my cellular. I could also press and hold 1. In my opinion, this will be well worth the %65 I will be paying.
